Day After Brunch

Our Wedding

Although we went to elementary school together, it wasn’t until middle school that we really became friends. Every Friday after school, we’d meet up at Baskin-Robbins and goof around with our friends. By the time we were 16, our friendship had turned into something more. We spent our high school years doing pretty much everything together—hanging out after school, doing homework, spending time with each other’s families, and making a lot of memories along the way. After high school, we went our separate ways for college, but during quarantine in 2020, we reconnected. Being stuck at home gave us plenty of time to catch up, and before we knew it, we were back in each other’s lives. It felt like we had picked up right where we left off. The rest of college meant doing long-distance, which definitely wasn’t always easy, but we made it work. After graduation, Julia moved to Colorado to be with Max, and we finally got to start building our life together in the same place. Now, we call Denver home and live near Cheesman Park. We love spending time together, whether that means skiing in the mountains, walking around the park, watching a show, exploring Denver, finding new restaurants and shops, cooking together, or, of course, traveling the world. It’s crazy to think that we went from being kids meeting up at Baskin-Robbins every Friday to now planning our wedding. We’ve grown up together, found our way back to each other, and built a life that we love—and we can’t wait for you all to celebrate with us!

Travel to Vail, Colorado

Vail is an easily walkable town, and a rental car is not necessary for the wedding weekend. Guests staying at the Hythe, in Lionshead, or in Vail Village can conveniently get around on foot or via Vail’s efficient and reliable bus service. Transportation will be provided to guests on the wedding day from Vail to Camp Hale.

Arriving by Air

You can fly into Denver International Airport (DIA) or Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE), and we’ve included information about both below. See "Ground Transportation To/From DIA and EGE" below for details on ground transport from airports such as Epic Mountain Express (our recommended option), car rentals, and other ground transportation providers.

Denver International Airport (DIA)Vail is located approximately 100 miles west from Denver and about 2 hours from DIA. All major airlines service the DIA daily, including:United Airlines www.united.comAmerican Airlines www.aa.comDelta Airlines www.delta.comSouthwest Airlines www.southwest.comFrontier Airlines www.frontierairlines.comDriving Directions from DIA to VailExit the airport on Pena Blvd.Merge onto I-70 West via the exit on the left.Continue on I-70 West until you reach Exit 176 – Vail. You have arrived! Between 1.5 to 2 hours to drive.

Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE)Conveniently located 35 miles west of Vail, two major carriers provide service to this airport on a seasonal basis:United Airlines www.united.comAmerican Airlines www.aa.comDriving Directions from EGE to VailExit the airport, taking a left on Cooley Mesa Road.Turn right onto Highway 6 eastbound, and follow it about five miles straight through one roundabout. At the second roundabout, take your third right (heading north).Take I-70 East for approximately 30 miles, until you reach Exit 176. You are in Vail! This is the closest airport to Vail.

GROUND TRANSPORTATION TO/FROM DIA AND EGE

Epic Mountain Express (EME) provides transportation directly to your hotel in Vail from the Denver International Airport. This is our recommended option for those not renting a car while visiting Colorado. For shuttle reservations and information, use the link www.epicmountainexpress.com/group_redirect?code=GEMINI to get 15% off transportation. You may also call 970.754.7433 and let them know you are a client of Isabelle Kline Design for a Vail Wedding. This is a shared 12-14 person shuttle. If wanting a private SUV or Shuttle, we highly recommend SnowFlake Transportationhttps://snowflakelimo.com/High Mountain Taxi And Ride Taxi Provides service between EGE and Vail. We do not recommend trying to take a taxi from DIA! This is best within the Vail Valley/Eagle County.High Mountain Taxi - 800.524.5555Ride Taxi - 970.949.1111Car Rentals: All major car rental companies are represented at DIA. Many car rental companies are represented at EGE as well.**We do not recommend relying on Uber or Lyft, as rideshare services are limited in Vail and tend to be more expensive.
