Although we went to elementary school together, it wasn’t until middle school that we really became friends. Every Friday after school, we’d meet up at Baskin-Robbins and goof around with our friends. By the time we were 16, our friendship had turned into something more. We spent our high school years doing pretty much everything together—hanging out after school, doing homework, spending time with each other’s families, and making a lot of memories along the way.

After high school, we went our separate ways for college, but during quarantine in 2020, we reconnected. Being stuck at home gave us plenty of time to catch up, and before we knew it, we were back in each other’s lives. It felt like we had picked up right where we left off. The rest of college meant doing long-distance, which definitely wasn’t always easy, but we made it work. After graduation, Julia moved to Colorado to be with Max, and we finally got to start building our life together in the same place.

Now, we call Denver home and live near Cheesman Park. We love spending time together, whether that means skiing in the mountains, walking around the park, watching a show, exploring Denver, finding new restaurants and shops, cooking together, or, of course, traveling the world. It’s crazy to think that we went from being kids meeting up at Baskin-Robbins every Friday to now planning our wedding. We’ve grown up together, found our way back to each other, and built a life that we love—and we can’t wait for you all to celebrate with us!
