The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors, showcasing Vail’s stunning mountain views. The reception will take place under a beautifully appointed tent, offering an elegant and comfortable atmosphere for the evening celebration.

Yes, parking is available at Camp Hale for guests who choose to drive. However, due to the remote mountain location of the venue, we highly encourage guests to take the provided shuttle transportation for convenience and safety. Shuttles will depart from The Hythe at 3:15 PM and will return guests throughout the evening, with the final shuttle departing at 11:00 PM at the conclusion of the wedding. If you choose to drive, please note that overnight parking is discouraged. If a vehicle must remain overnight for safety reasons, guests will be asked to return the following morning to retrieve it.

Early September in Vail offers pleasant mountain days and crisp, cool evenings. Average daytime temperatures are in the upper 60s to low 70s°F, while evenings often dip to the mid-40s°F. We encourage guests to bring a light layer or wrap for comfort during the outdoor portions of the celebration.

Vail’s elevation is approximately 8,150 feet above sea level, and the higher altitude can take a little time to adjust to. The thinner air means less oxygen and stronger sun exposure than most guests are accustomed to. To ensure a comfortable stay, we suggest the following: Staying well-hydrated before and during your trip, taking it easy your first day in town, using sunscreen and sunglasses outdoors, and drinking electrolytes if you’re feeling fatigued. A little preparation goes a long way toward enjoying the fresh mountain air and beautiful views!
